Alessandro Marvelli (born August 21, 1982, in Pescara, Italy) is a distinguished production designer and master of cinematic atmosphere, based in Los Angeles, California, since 2006. An esteemed member of the Art Directors Guild of America (Local 800), Marvelli commands a rare synthesis of classical artistic discipline—grounded in painting and illustration—and cutting-edge technological mastery, holding a Master’s degree in Digital Cinema from the University of La Sapienza in Rome.

For the past 15 years, Marvelli has traversed the globe as a creative leader, conceptualizing and managing artistic teams across the United States, Russia, South Africa, Mexico, and his native Italy. His work on feature films and high-concept advertising campaigns is defined by a meticulous attention to architectural detail and an intuitive grasp of visual narrative.

His creative excellence reached a global benchmark in 2021, when he was honored with his second “Best Production Designer” award for the feature film This Game’s Called Murder at the Fantaspoa International Fantastic Film Festival in Brazil—the most prestigious fantasy and science fiction festival in South America.
